Day 1 from the HCW Mission Team

Our team arrived at the MTC (Mission Training Center) in Sierra Leone midday today. It is Monday, and we began our travels on Saturday. It is the rainy season here and the video shows the weather we’ve encountered.
We’ve been greeted with amazing hospitality, and I am beginning to hear stories of the wonderful legacy and ongoing work here. Part of our medical team has already gone out for a diabetes clinic and the rest of us have been getting the team settled at the MTC. I look forward to sharing more as we go along. God’s grace is powerfully palpable in this place. Please keep our team in your prayers.
