Laura is a native of Northern Virginia and grew up in various United Methodist churches in the area as a minister’s daughter. She has a Bachelor of Arts in social science with a concentration in elementary education from Virginia Wesleyan College. Laura is married, has one son and enjoys living in Sterling, Va. with her family.
Laura was the chair of the board for Handbell Musicians of America Area 3 from 2013-2015 and has worked as faculty at multiple Area 3 events.
Laura began working at Floris UMC in January 1998. As the Handbell Coordinator, she directs all five of the handbell and chime choirs at Floris UMC.
