Floris UMC offers English classes for speakers of other languages.
The English as a Second Language (ESL) Ministry strives to
- Teach English to people who want to learn
- Exchange customs and culture
- Build relationships between instructors and learners
Teaching English to speakers of other languages (ESOL) opens doors for learners. And it allows you to give back to your local community.
Spend time each week as an instructor or assistant, providing English lessons in a fun and engaging environment. Volunteers can also help with administrative tasks.
All you need to know is English! Training is provided.
Classes are Tuesday and Thursday evening at Hutchison Elementary School from September-May.
