The MomCo
The MomCo is a nationally recognized community open to all mothers (and those expecting). MomCo is a supportive group of moms who pray, laugh, cry, and learn together.
General Meetings
MomCo meetings are from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on the second floor by the nursery and include childcare. Everyone is welcome to try one MomCo meeting at no charge.
Registration is required to attend subsequent meetings. Playdates and specified social events throughout the year are open to the entire community.

Welcome, Mama! We are excited to announce a few changes to Floris UMC MOPS this fall. MOPS International is rebranding to The MomCo by MOPS International. What does this mean for you? It means ALL mamas – pregnant through school years and beyond – are welcome to join.
- Pregnant? Let’s be excited together!
- Got a baby or toddler – yep, you’re welcome!
- Have elementary school children – can’t wait to connect!
- Done with the early years and need a mom tribe to help navigate preteen and teen mothering? So do we.

Each month, we have two in-person morning meetings. Childcare for the littlest ones is available for all morning meetings. Older kids in tow? No problem! Let us know and we’ll make a separate space for them. Nursing? We’ve got you covered with our “nursing nest.” Toddler having trouble separating from you? We’ve got things to keep them nearby, but busy. We’ve got you, mama!
The MomCo 2024-25 year (September through May) will also include bonus opportunities to meet up and connect with our community, such as:
- fellowship
- playdates
- creative/craft opportunities
- local and global outreach initiative
- enriching videos and discussions to help us on our mothering journey
Motherhood is hard – it doesn’t have to be lonely. We are excited to meet new moms this year as we all reach out to embrace this world of mothering together once more. Check out our group website for details about this year’s theme, Wild Hope!

New members can register now with MOPS International. MOPS International runs The MomCo and offers fees as low as $37/full calendar year. Your membership includes online resources and a quarterly magazine for the 2024-25 year.
There are NO separate costs for childcare. The price is the same whether you have one, two, or four children under the age of five. Scholarships are available for the Floris UMC MomCo fee. Contact us if we can help.
