Haiti
In response to the devastating 2010 earthquake in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Floris UMC has committed to send six mission teams (through the year 2013) to work on reconstruction projects for the Methodist Church of Haiti. Floris UMC missioners work through the United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM) in Haiti, which leads the reconstruction efforts for missioners traveling to Haiti. The next trip is scheduled for March 2013. We are seeking those that are called into mission to work alongside our Haitian brothers and sisters for God’s glory and to rebuild their lives. Volunteer applications are available below. Please contact Jake McGlothin, Director of Serve Ministries with any questions you may have.
