Renee Williams joined Floris UMC in January 2014. She grew up in a military family and was a military spouse. She has lived in 10 different states and now calls Virginia home, where she lives with her husband and two amazing children. Renee has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Auburn University, and she has worked on NASA's Space Shuttle Program at two NASA space centers. After years of volunteering as a Sunday school and Vacation Bible School teacher, Renee was thrilled to change careers to one in which she could work with children. Renee's responsibilities include planning and implementing the many fun and exciting Floris UMC programs for children in preschool through elementary school. Renee loves working with children of all ages. In her spare time, she enjoys distance running and hanging out with her children.
