Women of the Word - Thursday

Description: "Women of the Word" is a women's Bible study that explores scripture for its life application, and promotes personal reflection and transformation. Many women of Floris have been a part of WOW over the years, and credit it with being a critical component in their faith development. Groups place an emphasis on member-led devotions, personal Bible study, prayer, outreach and fellowship. An environment of intimacy and open, honest sharing is maintained within each group. WOW studies utilize a workbook format, in which readings and questions are completed before meeting with the group. [Childcare is available.] Register for WOW.
Disciple 1

Description: You've heard about it, felt the yearning, it's time to se what it's all about! Can you answer the question, "How do I justify my faith in God?" Are you able to answer questions from your children about God without having to make something up? Come join us to read 80% of the Bible and discuss it for 100 hours over the next 8 months. A new understanding of the Bible and a closer walk with God guaranteed! Preparation for weekly discussions take 3-4 hours per week. This class is truly a life changer! [Childcare is available.) Alcoholics Anonymous

Description: Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problems and help others to recover. AA is not allied with any denomination, politics, organization or institute. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. Divorce Care

Description: Divorce Care is a 12-week support group for anyone experiencing the challenge of recovering from the hurt of separation or divorce. The weekly sessions consist of viewing a videotape featuring top experts on divorce and recovery followed by a discussion of various related topics. The program focuses on recovery by building on faith and allowing God's grace to bring joy and hope back into those facing the trauma of divorce. [Childcare is available.] Register for Divorce Care.
South Riding Women's Bible Study
